You may have already known How to prepare liquid PVC material in our previous post, Do you know how many ways of baking the liquid PVC material to final soft PVC products? Today we list these 3 ways(most used in Soft PVC manufacturing)to turn the liquid PVC material to beautiful products!
Before we get started, we’d better get a bit of knowledge of liquid PVC(also known as Plastisol), make it short, At ordinary room temperature, this material is liquid, when heated with temperature, it becomes solid, so temperature is the key point!
The first way: Baking with a baking plate
Baking with the heating plate is a simple way to baking liquid PVC material, fill the liquid material into molds/dies, put the molds on the heating plate, with a temperature 200-250 0C, the liquid PVC material will become solid.
The heating plate is simply structured, a copper or aluminum plate, with some heating tubes inside, you get a heating plate! but you should always keep an eye on the material to find out whether the material is well cooked, this way takes the experience also patience, and since the heating plate is wide open, most of the energy are wasted, which consume more electricity, and what’s more, low productivity!
The second way: Using semi-automatic ovens
Compared with baking plate, the semi-automatic baking oven is semi-closed, and there is a pusher inside, you are able to set up the baking time and then put the molds with liquid PVC material inside, when time is up, the pusher will push out the molds, sounds better!
The third way: Automatic Baking your liquid PVC material
Finally, we come to an automatic one! that’s it, the automatic baking oven, which is highly recommended to you, compared with two ways above, this way features below:
- Control the baking time by setting up the chain speed
- Efficient heaters, meaning products can be heated evenly
- Two set of heaters, if broken, change to another, no termination of the production
- Energy saving and can increase level of production
- Automatic push the well-cooked molds to cooling system
